these people are so hot though, i guess that’s how it’s a soap opera too. and i think I know the reason why I keep watching this though it’s so terrible sometimes. time for a character study!
Jake - righteous, goal-oriented, angry warrior. needs a leash, or at least a purpose.
Adam - moral and good at his core, but with a significant dark side that his friends have ignored or been blind to, possibly caused by outside influence
Cassie - idiot. weak idiot. unresolved potential. could probably discover greatness in herself if she weren’t so damn stupid and easy to manipulate
Diana - golden morals. not perfect, definitely self-righteous, but strong and smart.
Faye - wild but self-aware. projects walls and protects her vulnerability through an illusion of how she wants people to think she is.
Melissa - also a moral center of the group when she is not being swayed by peer pressure/just being human.

there’s some logic to the circle for protection thing but since it came out of Cassie’s mouth it’s probably not the best damn idea.
